Hostinger vs Namecheap: long-term offers or monthly hosting?
Compare selected Hostinger web plans with Namecheap’s standard monthly US variants. Look at the contract, backup service, mailboxes and payment due, not just the monthly equivalent.

Hostinger is worth considering when you want managed hosting without maintaining a server. Its own hPanel replaces the familiar cPanel workflow. Our selection starts with Premium for up to three websites, then includes Unlimited and Cloud Startup for different resource needs. The first position is our editorial presentation order, not a measured performance award.
Shared hosting with cPanel, email and a choice between a defined entry allowance and an unmetered larger plan. We show standard monthly USD tariffs, not annual introductory discounts.
Standard monthly tariff, not the advertised annual promotion or free trial. US data-center variant. 30 mailboxes. Internal backups are not a guaranteed daily-backup service. SSL and domain promotions have separate conditions; taxes or add-ons may apply.

A closer look
Namecheap is represented here by Stellar and Stellar Plus on their standard monthly tariffs. The selected US data-center variants make a useful comparison for projects that do not want a multi-year prepaid term. Other billing periods, trials and locations can have different prices; this catalogue does not claim that the monthly tariff is the cheapest way to buy every Namecheap plan.
The selected Hostinger web variants use a discounted 48-month prepaid term. The selected Namecheap Stellar variants use standard monthly tariffs for the US data-center variant. We are not comparing those monthly rows with Namecheap’s annual introductory discount or free trial. This makes the selected short-term option visible, but it is not a claim that these are the cheapest possible offers from both brands.
Compare the initial payment honestly
A small monthly equivalent can require a much larger payment at the beginning. Hostinger’s known upfront amounts cover the full selected term; Namecheap’s selected monthly amounts cover a month. The table shows the confirmed amount for the period rather than pretending these are identical commitments. A temporary project and a site you expect to keep for several years may therefore produce different shortlists even with the same storage requirement.
Premium, Unlimited, Stellar or Stellar Plus?
Premium and Stellar both have a defined entry website and storage allowance in this catalogue. The larger selected web plans change the website allowance and include daily backups. Stellar Plus unmetered storage still has acceptable-use and resource restrictions. Hostinger uses hPanel; Namecheap’s selected shared hosting uses cPanel. Hostinger email is a first-year promotion, whereas the selected Namecheap plans include email. Confirm the scope of each service rather than assuming both bundles are equivalent.
A practical way to choose
Shortlist Namecheap’s monthly option when the shorter billing commitment is a priority. Compare Hostinger when its longer prepaid term and selected features are acceptable for your project. Neither decision can be reduced to a speed claim here: we have not run independent performance tests. Use the individual reviews and current provider checkout to confirm taxes, optional extras and the variant you intend to buy.
